Hyundai smart key programming isn't a dealer-only job. The car's immobilizer module checks the fob's transponder chip through a proximity antenna on push-to-start models or a coil around the ignition on turn-key models. Programming means registering a new chip code with that module. I do it through the OBD port under the dash with a diagnostic computer and a cable.
