2019 Ram 1500 Smart Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
Ram trucks use a system called the WIN module on older models and an RF-hub on newer ones. WIN stands for Wireless Ignition Node. It's the slot on the dash where the Fobik plugs in and twists. The WIN reads the transponder chip and talks to the truck's computer. If the chip code matches, the engine starts. On newer push-to-start Rams, the RF-hub does the same job wirelessly. That security system is the reason a Ram key costs more than a hardware store copy.
