I got the call in Oxnard, right in Pleasant Valley Fields. She had just finished a vet appointment. Her 2022 Acura RDX would not respond to the fob. Five buttons, FCC ID KR5BTP, the standard smart key for this generation.

Her original case showed part number 72147-3S5-X01. I replaced it with a fresh OEM spec KR5BTP unit, registered it through the immobilizer with my IM608, and synced it to the RDX memory slot. The system has a built in security wait during registration, so you just let it do its thing.
