I hooked up external power to keep things steady at 13V. Cleared the B12C5 code through OBD, then started fresh with the Autel IM608. The system needs a specific sequence: ignition on, wait for the security light pattern, then follow the countdown prompts. No shortcuts.
The new proximity fob registered clean. Tested all five buttons, made sure remote start held for the full cycle, checked that walk-away lock engaged at 8 feet like it should.
