I met him at Channel Islands Harbor in Oxnard, parked along the water with his 2020 Acura RDX still wearing the dealer plate frame.

He asked what the process would look like if he ever lost both keys at once. I gave him the honest answer: all-keys-lost is a different job, longer, and the missing fobs get wiped from memory so they can no longer start the vehicle. He nodded and said he wasn't planning on finding out.
He drove off with two working keys. Whole thing was done dockside before the lunch crowd showed up.
