A customer at the mosque lot in Ventura told me he'd already been burned. Another locksmith charged him full price for a 2025 Kia Sorento key that never programmed correctly. I cleared the failed key data, ran a clean IMMO learn with the proper PIN and security sequence, and confirmed the new key was permanently written. His fob, FCC ID TQ8-FOB-4F61M44, had all 5 buttons working plus a clean start. I showed him the confirmation screen.
He paid me 253. Dealer charges 447. He'd already paid the first locksmith too. But I could make sure it was done right this time.
