A delivery driver was parked at a roadside spot in Lakeside Proper when his 2010 Acura TSX key gave out the worst way possible: the blade snapped off inside the door lock. The lock worked. The remote worked. The car started. He was back on his route in about an hour.
The other locksmith's plan would have meant parts, labor, a new cylinder, and waiting. His original lock still works with the new key exactly the way it always did. The dealer never even came up in conversation.
