I was parked near one of the lunch spots off Convoy Street in Kearny Mesa on a Sunday when the call came in. Flight attendant, layover, 2001 Audi A4. She had already paid another locksmith. I connected through the OBD port, cleared the incomplete key data the previous attempt had left behind, read a fresh PIN from the immobilizer, and ran the registration clean from the beginning with the correct timing. When it confirmed the key was permanently written, I handed it back and had her try it herself.
