Push-to-start all-keys-lost is the job that worries Cadillac owners the most. No key slot on most modern models. No way to physically turn an ignition. The car needs to wirelessly detect a registered fob before it even wakes up. When that fob is gone, the car feels completely dead, but it isn't.

His Cadillac started at a ski lodge with no dealer anywhere close. Total was around $359. The dealer would have been $641 plus a long tow. Smart key AKL on Cadillac isn't dealer-dependent. It's tool-dependent. Right equipment, current software, and it's a field job.
