A guy near the Encanto Border side of Lemon Grove reached me late on a Saturday. He had one fob left for his 2009 370Z and it had been acting up for weeks. Then it quit entirely. Car sitting in his driveway, no start, no response from the door handles.

Tested every function before I even touched a programming tool. Touch unlock on both handles, the start button response, all four fob buttons. Everything came back. The fob did not need reprogramming at all. It needed the physical connection it was not getting.
He had been a day away from a tow and a dealer visit for a bent battery contact. I was in and out in under twenty minutes. That moment where the start button lit up and the car woke up and he just stood there for a second, that part never gets old.
