Downtown Oceanside, middle of the afternoon. A pharmacy tech called me from her carport because her only key to her 2013 370z had given up in the most inconvenient way possible. The fob housing had a stress crack running along the seam, and when she pulled it from her pocket that morning, the key blade snapped at the base. She had two pieces of fob and zero working keys.

Forty minutes, two working keys, done at her carport. The dealer had already quoted her a number she didn't like, and that was just for one key without any kind of expedited availability. Going the mobile route saved her a good chunk, and she left with a spare for the first time since she bought the car.
