Do you need to tow your 2010 Audi A6 to the dealer? Probably not. For most Audi models from the mid-2000s flip keys through the mid-2010s smart keys, I handle all-keys-lost right at the car. No tow. No dealer. No leaving the car somewhere for days.

Her total was $251. The dealer would have been $473 plus the tow. There are some newer Audi platforms with encrypted BCM2 modules where AKL requires bench work and takes longer. And a small number of the latest models are still dealer-only. But for the majority of Audis on the road, I do all-keys-lost on-site regularly.
