A retired firefighter in Vista had just picked up a used 2015 GMC Terrain from a credit union auto sale. Good truck, fair price, one problem: it came with one key. The credit union told him to get a spare on his own. He figured it would be quick.

I matched the blank, cut the blade on my machine, and used my VVDI2 to clone the transponder data from his existing key onto a fresh blank so the truck accepted it without a full reprogram.
His spare works identical to the dealer key. Lock, unlock, start, all 5 buttons. He drove home with two working keys, and that second key means if one ever goes missing, the next replacement is a simple add-a-key instead of all-keys-lost, which saves even more down the road.
