2007 Kia Sportage Remote Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
I go to where the car is. You drop a pin, I load up the van and drive to that pin. Driveway, parking lot, gravel pull-off, doesn't matter. The car stays put.
The call came from Eden Gardens in Solana Beach. A woman had lost the only key to her 2007 Kia Sportage. No spare anywhere. The car was sitting in the driveway and she needed it to get to work the next morning. Her daughter had already called the dealer and heard back: a wait of several days minimum, and the car would need to be towed in since it couldn't be driven without a working key.
I got there with everything already loaded for her Sportage. Decoded the door lock on site to get the key cut right, then connected through the OBD port and pulled the vehicle's security data to run the programming sequence. The factory remote on this generation is a three-button unit, and I built one from scratch in her driveway, transponder enrolled, buttons confirmed, all three functions tested before I packed up.
Her car started right there. She didn't have to arrange a tow or take time off to sit at a dealership service counter. The daughter mentioned what the dealer had quoted over the phone. I'll just say she saved a good chunk, and that's before factoring in what a tow would have added.
That's the whole job. No drama. Just the car working again in the same spot it was sitting.
