I was out in Winding Walk on a Saturday morning when the call came in. Delivery driver, 2012 Nissan Leaf, had already been through it with another locksmith. That guy showed up, took his money, and left him with a fob that would start the car but had zero remote function. Doors wouldn't lock, charge port button did nothing. Basically a broken key that happened to also run the ignition.

I ran my diagnostic equipment, cleared the incomplete registration, and did a full programming sequence that covered the transponder authorization and all three remote buttons including the charge port release.
Walked him through every button on the hood of my van before I packed up. Lock, unlock, charge port -- all live. He tested it himself twice.
He mentioned the dealer had quoted him a figure that made him look for alternatives in the first place. I came in well under that, and I actually finished the job.
