He landed after a late flight and walked through the economy lot in Old Town National City with his bag over one shoulder and a shoot starting in four hours. The 2005 Jetta sat there fine. He clicked the fob. Nothing. Clicked again. Nothing. He hadn't replaced the battery in years.
