The whole thing came together at the curb in about 45 minutes.
He tested every button, tried the lock and unlock from across the street, and started the car twice just to be sure. Then he asked what the dealer would have charged. I told him I had no idea what their current rate was, but I knew it was a lot more than what he paid me, and he didn't have to tow it anywhere or wait four days.
He laughed and said the duct tape was really starting to smell in the heat anyway.
