I got a call out of West Simi Valley on a Tuesday morning. A guy had a 2023 Stelvio sitting in his driveway, dash showing a key-not-detected warning, and he was already late for something. He did not need programming. He did not need a new fob. He needed a battery and someone who showed up with a meter instead of a guess.
That is not always how it goes. Sometimes it is a full programming job and I am there for forty minutes with the laptop open. But the diagnostic step is the same either way: figure out what is actually broken before replacing anything.
