Older Audi flip keys with the HU66 blade and Megamos 48 chip are some of the fastest key jobs I do. The lock is clean to decode, the key blank is common, and the transponder programming on these IMMO3 cars is the quickest Audi generation. A spare key when you already have a working one can be done in 15 to 20 minutes. All-keys-lost adds time for the PIN read but usually stays under 45 minutes.

A shop owner at an import mechanic shop in the Rose Shopping Center area of Oxnard had a customer's 2012 Audi A6 on the lift and the customer had dropped off one key. The new key was cut, chipped, and starting the engine within 30 minutes.

The shop put the wheels back on and the customer picked up the car on time. Total was 95. The dealer would have charged 200 and taken days.
