A customer at church near Ojai Trolley route on a Sunday told me she'd already been burned once. Another locksmith had charged her full price for a 2024 Ford Edge key that never programmed correctly. The car would crank but the immobilizer killed the fuel injection after two seconds. Classic failed PATS learn. The other tech told her the car had a module problem and left.

She paid me 255. Dealer charges 438 for the same work. She'd already paid the first locksmith too, which I couldn't help with. But I could make sure the job was actually done right.
