Not every GMC owner lives ten minutes from a dealer. A cattle rancher on his property outside Ojai had a 2025 GMC Savana that needed a new key. The nearest GMC dealer was over an hour each way. His remote, FCC ID OUC60221, was a 4-button unit that I paired through OBD.
He had two working keys before I left the property. Total was 78. The dealer route would have been 174 plus two hours of driving or a long-distance tow. For rural customers, mobile service isn't a convenience. It's the only thing that makes sense.
