Out in Ojai's East End, a Savana owner called me on a weekday morning. The van was sitting in her driveway and it wouldn't finish starting. It would crank, catch for a second, then die. Security light was on. She had already tried it three or four times by the time I got there.
She handed me two keys on a heavy ring. Both looked original. I asked her to try one key by itself, nothing else on the ring, and the second attempt started clean and held.
