I extracted the blade fragment from the lock, decoded the wafers, and cut two fresh emergency inserts. Then I rebuilt the YGOHUF8423 into a new 4-button shell with the salvaged chip and board. Programmed, tested passive entry on all four doors, tested the tailgate button, confirmed start.
She went from zero keys to two in about 45 minutes. If your Volvo fob is cracked but the chip inside still works, bring it. That one detail changes the whole job.
