2011 GMC Acadia Transponder Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional

I got a call from a guy over in Blossom Valley, Lakeside. He'd been driving his 2011 GMC Acadia for years on the same key and one morning it just stopped working. Car would crank, almost catch, then die. He thought it was a fuel pump.

He was about to have it towed to a shop for a fuel system diagnosis when his neighbor mentioned it sounded like a security issue. That's when he called me.

I pulled up to his driveway and watched him crank it. The engine turned over fine, fired for half a second, then cut out. Cut a new key blade to his vehicle, programmed a fresh transponder chip to the immobilizer right there in the driveway. First crank with the new key, the engine ran clean and stayed running.

He'd already been quoted a diagnostic fee at the shop just to look at it, plus whatever the fuel pump repair would have been if they'd gone down that road. He paid a fraction of that, standing in his own driveway, and drove to work twenty minutes later.

The fuel pump was fine the whole time.
