Worst case on a 2015 Jaguar XK is when a previous tech attempted all-keys-lost, something went wrong during the KVM bench read, and the module is now locked or partially corrupted. Total job time was about two hours, which is longer than normal. His bill was $95. The alternative was shipping the KVM or towing to the dealer for $200 or more. The car left the shop running that afternoon.
