Got a call from a guy out near McGrath State Beach in Oxnard. His 2018 Discovery Sport had two smart keys when he bought it. One went through the wash. The other one his kid dropped somewhere at the beach a week later. Zero working keys, vehicle sitting in the driveway.

I showed up with the key blank, the HU101 cut data, and JLR-compatible diagnostic equipment. The L550 Discovery Sport uses Jaguar Land Rover's passive entry system tied to the KVM module on the CAN bus. All-keys-lost means you have to go through the KVM security handshake, wipe the old fob registrations, and write fresh ones. The HK83-15K601-AA smart key also needs its emergency blade cut to the HU101 profile so the driver door mechanical lock works as backup.
Cut the blade on the hood. Programmed both new fobs through the OBD-II port. Tested passive entry on every door handle, the tailgate release, push-button start in every gear position, and the panic button.
