2000 Chevrolet Blazer Remote Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
I was working near the Cedros Design District in Solana Beach on a Tuesday when a guy called me about his 2000 Blazer. Lost his only set. No spare, no way to start it, sitting in his apartment parking lot.
He had already called the dealer. They told him to have it towed in and quoted him a wait plus parts-on-order situation that could stretch into days. He found me before he called a tow truck, which is how it should go.
I pulled up to his building and got to work. First thing I did was decode his door lock to get the correct cut for his key blade. From there I cut a replacement, programmed the transponder through the OBD port, then synced the fob. He had four buttons, all working by the end.
The whole thing happened in his parking lot, no tow, no waiting room, no parts-on-order delay. He stood there and watched me work, which I don't mind at all. People who watch tend to trust the result more.
He paid a fraction of what the dealer wanted, and the dealer still would have needed his car on a flatbed to get there.
