A guy out in Fanita Ranch called me on a Tuesday morning. His 2009 HHR started fine, he said, then the next day it cranked and immediately died. Cranked and died again. Security light glowing on the dash after each attempt. He figured the battery was going and had already swapped it. Same result.

I cut a new key to his vehicle, programmed the transponder on site, and had him start the HHR himself. Clean start, security light off, no stall.
