He was already running late when his 2023 Mazda 3 went completely dark in a commuter lot in Rancho Bernardo, not far from the Santaluz neighborhood. The fob wasn't responding, the door handles weren't registering, and his train was pulling out without him. He called me at about 6:45 in the morning.
