I got a call out to Bressi Ranch on a Tuesday evening. The owner had a 2013 Mazda 6 and needed a spare smart key cut and programmed. He'd only ever had the one fob since buying the car used, and he'd been putting off getting a second one for two years. Then his wife needed the car while he was traveling and he realized there was no backup plan.

I ran through every button on the new fob after programming, walked both door handles for the touch unlock, and confirmed the original key still worked correctly alongside it. Both fobs registered, both fobs functional.
