Out in Shadowridge, off one of those quiet side streets near the golf course, I got a call on a Sunday morning from a guy who had already been through it once. An off-duty paramedic, early riser, and clearly not in the mood to repeat the story more than once.

I connected through the OBD port with my programmer, cleared the incomplete key data, pulled a fresh PIN, and ran the full registration sequence without cutting it short. Confirmed the fob was permanently registered. Tested the start three times in a row, all four buttons, and walked him through the emergency blade in the fob because he didn't know it was there.
He'd already paid someone else once. I didn't bring that up again after he mentioned it. We both just moved on.
