A home daycare operator at her bungalow near Coronado Cays had a 2013 Nissan Armada with a cracked key shell. The rubber buttons were wearing through and the plastic had split near the blade. Your Armada uses a Smart Key with 4 buttons on the face, a CR2025 or CR1620 or CR1616 battery inside, and either an edge-cut blade or an emergency laser insert depending on model year. There's also a transponder chip that communicates with the car's immobilizer every time you start it.
I went to her bungalow that evening with replacement shells and my DAT17 Lishi. Her key's FCC ID was CWTWBU624. I swapped the working electronics from her cracked shell into a fresh housing, verified every button, and cut a new blade from the lock decode. The aftermarket shells I use have the same button layout and snap fit as factory.
She paid about $254 for the full job. Her cracked key was her only one, so having it rebuilt plus a spare means she has a backup now.
