2004 Nissan Murano Remote Head Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
A home inspector in the Bancroft neighborhood of Spring Valley called me on a Monday. His 2004 Murano key had died over the weekend and he needed to be back on the road same day. He had already called the dealer. Wednesday was the earliest they could see him, and that was before any tow was arranged.
He was self-employed and had inspections booked through the end of the week. Two days down meant two days of canceled appointments, and he wasn't vague about what that cost him.
I pulled up to the apartment carport that afternoon. He was standing next to the Murano with his work bag on the ground, looking at his phone and recalculating his week.
I cut the replacement key blade to the vehicle, registered the transponder to the immobilizer, and paired the remote. Then I walked every function with him watching: lock, unlock, trunk release, and a start cycle. All confirmed before I handed it over.
He picked up his bag and his schedule was intact. The dealer comment came up almost as an afterthought. He mentioned what they had quoted and said the difference between that and what he paid me was enough to cover a full day of fuel.
Monday call, Monday fix. When you work for yourself, that's not a convenience. That's the whole thing.
