2019 Nissan Murano Smart Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
A business owner working out of the Poway Business Park called me on a Tuesday afternoon. He had a 2019 Murano and needed a spare he could actually rely on day to day, not just a throwaway backup. His first question, before I even pulled up, was whether aftermarket was "as good as the real thing." He had been burned before on something else and wanted a straight answer.
I told him what I tell everyone: the quality of the blank matters more than the logo on the back. I carry aftermarket fobs I have personally tested across a lot of Nissan jobs. Same button count, same internal layout, same fit. The factory fob ID on his original key matched what I had in the van. The emergency blade inside got cut to his vehicle on the spot.
After programming, we walked every function. Passive lock on both door handles, the rear liftgate release, the panic. All of it. He held the new fob next to his original and clicked them both. Same feel, same response, no Nissan logo on the back of the new one.
He had called the dealer first. They gave him a parts-and-labor number that made him put the phone down. He saved a good chunk going mobile, and the whole job happened in the parking lot outside his office.
