Over in the Las Americas Area of San Ysidro, I got a call from someone who'd already been to the dealer. She had a 2013 Nissan Murano and one working key. The second fob had been dead for months, and she kept putting off doing anything about it. Then the working one started acting up.

Then we moved to the real job: programming a replacement for the dead fob. That one needed full Intelligent Key registration through the diagnostic port. New fob enrolled, old dead one cleared from the system so it couldn't be used. I walked every button on both fobs, tested both door handles, confirmed three clean starts, and checked range from the sidewalk.
She mentioned the dealer had quoted her a wait of several days because they'd need to order the fob. I was done in about forty minutes, right where she parked.
