A woman in Rolling Hills Ranch flagged me down through a text before I'd finished my previous job. She had a single working key for her 2010 Titan and her neighbor's kid had gotten ahold of it, pried the fob open out of curiosity, and put it back together wrong. The remote buttons were dead. Cut the blade to her vehicle, programmed the new key through the diagnostic port with her working key present, verified the remote function and the start. Done on site.
She mentioned the dealer had quoted her a wait time measured in days, not hours, because they'd have to order the blank. I was in and out of her driveway faster than that appointment would have taken to schedule.
