Out in the Border Area on a Sunday morning, I got a call from a guy standing next to his 2023 Titan in a parking lot. He had already been through it. Another locksmith had come out a few days before, charged him full price for a replacement smart key, and left him with a truck that cranked but died two seconds after startup every single time.

Truck started clean. No stall. He tested it himself, twice.
