I'm already in Oxnard with Chevy key blanks, flip key shells, ID46 transponder chips, and smart fob housings loaded in the van right now. I don't order parts when you call. The B111 blanks, the B106 blanks, the flip key shells for Cruze and Equinox and Malibu, the CR2032 batteries, and the smart fob housings for push-to-start models are all in labeled drawers behind my seat.

A couple at the bowling alley near Oxnard Beach Park on a Saturday night came out and their 2004 Chevrolet Colorado wouldn't respond to the remote. Both fobs were dead. They figured they'd call the dealer Monday and leave the car overnight. Then one of them searched "Chevy locksmith" and found me.

I was 15 minutes away and I had the right blank for their remote already in stock.
