I cleared the failed key data, ran a clean learn with the full 10-minute timer, and confirmed the new key was written permanently. His transponder key, FCC ID CWTWB1U751, had the standard B111 blade and ID46 chip. I showed him the confirmation screen on my IM608 so he could see the key was fully learned this time.

He paid me 99. The dealer charges 211 for the same work. He'd already paid the first locksmith too, which I couldn't help with. But I could make sure the job was actually done right.
