A dog groomer met me in her condo driveway near Oxnard State Beach Park with a cracked Hummer EV key fob. The plastic hinge had split and the emergency blade kept falling out.

The tricky part with these isn't the physical swap. It's knowing that GM updated the BCM firmware in May 2023 under bulletin 23-NA-108. Some early production Hummers need that flash before they'll accept new remotes properly.
I verified all six buttons worked, including the frunk release that people forget about. Cut a fresh blade from my decode. The whole job took maybe twenty minutes in her driveway.
