2025 Hyundai Palisade Smart Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
Had a 2025 Palisade call from Telephone Road, right by the auto parts store. Guy's smart key worked perfect until he pressure washed the engine bay.
Now the push button showed "Key not detected" even with the fob right on it. The doors would unlock if he got close enough, but starting was dead. He'd already tried the dealer hotline. They wanted the car towed in, two week wait for an appointment.
I pulled codes first. B1695 for immobilizer antenna failure. The antenna coil sits right behind the push button, and water had gotten past the seal. I disconnected it, dried the connector pins, hit them with contact cleaner. The antenna itself tested good on the scope.
While it dried, I checked his TQ8-FOB-4F27. Clean board, good battery voltage, proper 433.92 MHz signal on my frequency counter. The problem was all car side.
Twenty minutes later, reconnected and cleared codes. The Palisade recognized the key instantly. Started right up, no more B1695. I had him cycle it five times to be sure.
He mentioned the dealer wanted the car for three days minimum. Fixed it right there in the parking lot for a fraction of what they quoted.
