It was close to 10:30 at night when my phone rang. A woman calling from an office park in the Presidio neighborhood of Santa Barbara, tired voice, end-of-day exhausted. She was an attorney who had been grinding through a filing deadline and walked out to the parking lot to find her I-Pace sitting there and her only key nowhere to be found.
