A travel blogger living up in the Big Sky neighborhood had her 2021 Jaguar I-Pace sitting in the driveway for about three weeks while she was out of town. The I-Pace runs a sophisticated electronic architecture and the key enrollment is not something you skip or shortcut. I tested every function before I packed up - door lock, door unlock, the start button response, and the emergency blade in the cylinder.
She paid a fraction of what the first locksmith quoted her. The other quote included a new cylinder, new key hardware, and labor for the whole teardown. None of that was necessary.
