Out in Hobson Park, Oxnard, a guy called me around midnight on a Tuesday. Third-shift worker, K5 sitting in the driveway, only fob he had. He'd been clicking it for twenty minutes and getting nothing back. Push-button start wouldn't wake up, doors weren't responding to the handle sensors.
