The system accepted the new key on the first clean attempt after the reset.
Total was about 80 minutes including the module work. His bill was $95. The alternative was a flatbed to the Hyundai dealer, a multi-day wait, and $200 or more. I carry bench tools specifically for situations where a previous bad attempt left the system worse off than when it started.
