1997 Infiniti G20 Metal Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
I got a call out to the Live Oak Park Area of Fallbrook on a Tuesday morning. Guy had a 1997 Infiniti G20 that had been sitting in his driveway for a few months while he dealt with some other things.
When he went to get back into his routine, the only key he had was worn down to the point where the ignition would catch and then slip, and the door lock was getting dicey too. He had already been to a hardware store and gotten a copy made, but the copy was made from the worn key, so it inherited every flaw.
He figured the dealer was his only real option. I told him to hold off on that call.
I pulled up, decoded the key right there in the driveway, and cut a fresh blade to the original factory specification. The door lock turned clean on the first try. The ignition fired without any of that hesitation he had gotten used to. He said it felt like a different car.
No appointment, no waiting room, no tow truck. The dealer comparison came up briefly. He had already called them, and just getting a quote involved being transferred twice. I was already done before lunch.
