2005 Honda Insight MECHANICAL-KEY Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
A single dad in Oxnard, over in the Gonzales Road commercial area, had just picked up a used 2005 Honda Insight from one of those buy-here-pay-here lots. Decent car, fair deal, but it came with exactly one key. The lot told him to get a spare on his own.

I pulled the key data, cut the high-security blade on my mobile machine, and used my VVDI2 to clone the transponder so the car's immobilizer accepted it without needing a full system reset.
He turned it over in the ignition twice, watched the green key light on the dash go out like it should, and just nodded.
That second key means if he ever loses one, the next replacement is a quick add-a-key clone instead of a full all-keys-lost job with PIN extraction from the ECU. He drove home with two working keys and one less thing to worry about.
