Got a call from a woman in the Aldi parking lot near Channel Islands Harbor in Oxnard. She had a 2014 Genesis Coupe 2.0T and her only key had snapped at the fold, right where the blade pivots out of the SY5HMFNA04 shell. The Genesis Coupe uses an ID46 chip that talks to the immobilizer module through the coil antenna around the ignition cylinder. I cut the blade on my Triton, dropped in a fresh CR2032, and programmed the remote and transponder together.
