I got a call from a guy in a parking lot off Convoy Street in Kearny Mesa, San Diego. It was close to 9:30 at night. He had lost his only key to a 2025 Ford Explorer and was standing next to it trying to decide whether to call a tow truck.

He drove home that night. The dealer was closed and would have needed the car towed in anyway. I was in and out in under an hour, start to finish.
