A recent college grad in Rancho Santa Fe had just bought a used 2000 Infiniti QX4 from a Carmax lot. Nice car, fair price, but it came with one key. The salesperson told him to get a spare on his own.

His spare works identical to the original. Lock, unlock, trunk, start, all 3 buttons. He drove home with two working keys, and that second key means if one disappears, the replacement is a quick add-a-key instead of a full all-keys-lost job.
